About the flight map
The AirportsBoard flight map is a free personal flight log in your browser. Manually add departure and arrival airports to see your routes, flight count and approximate distances between airports.
How to create your flight map
- Choose Add flight and find both airports by city, name or IATA code.
- Add a date and flight number if you remember them. Both fields are optional.
- View all your flights or filter by year. Save a PNG to share and a JSON backup to restore your log.
Flight map questions
Is the flight map free?
Yes. You can add flights and save images without payment or registration.
Can I add a flight without a date or flight number?
Yes. Choose the departure and arrival airports; both the date and flight number are optional. Flights without dates appear under All time.
How can I save my flight history without registering?
In this browser on this device. Download a JSON backup and restore it on another device to move your history. Clearing browser data can delete it. Private browsing is unsuitable for long-term storage. There is no automatic syncing between devices. Save a JSON backup.
How do I move my log to another phone?
Open Save and backup, save the JSON file and restore it on the other device. A preview appears before adding records. Matching records are not duplicated; conflicting records do not replace your current ones.
Is this a live aircraft tracking map?
No. It shows past flights that you enter manually. It does not track aircraft or import flight history from your email.
How are distance and countries counted?
Distance is an estimate of the shortest path over a sphere between airports, not the aircraft’s actual track. The country count refers to airports on your map and does not prove that you entered those countries.
What is visible in the image I share?
Routes, cities, airport codes and statistics. Exact dates and flight numbers are not shown in the PNG. The JSON backup includes your log and any dates and flight numbers you entered.
How can I share my map in Telegram, Instagram or another app?
Choose Share and save a PNG or open the system share menu. Available apps depend on your phone and browser. If an app is missing, save the image and upload it yourself. The tool link does not include your personal flight history.
