HND Tokyo Haneda International Airport

The airport is directly connected to the Keikyu line and the Tokyo Monorail. Travel times: to Shinagawa about 15 minutes, Hamamatsucho about 20, Tokyo Station and Yokohama about 30, Ueno and Asakusa about 40, Shibuya about 45, Shinjuku about 50 minutes. In Terminal 1 the platforms of both lines are on Level B1. In Terminal 3 the Keikyu ticket gates towards central Tokyo and Yokohama are in the arrivals hall on Level 2, Tokyo Monorail on Level 2 (arrivals) and Level 3 (departures).

Taxi ranks are on Level 1 (arrivals hall) of terminals 1 and 2, with separate stops for trips to Kawasaki, Yokohama, Yokosuka and Miura and for other destinations; in Terminal 3 — stop 21, go down to Level 1 following the signs. Taxis booked via an app or in advance pull up on Level 2 (departures): in Terminal 1 at exit 7, in Terminal 2 at exit 2. A flat fare applies between Haneda, Tokyo and Kanagawa Prefecture, except some areas; tolls are paid on top.

A free shuttle bus runs between the terminals: from 5:00 to 20:00 every 4 minutes, from 20:00 to 0:00 every 8 minutes; first buses from 4:47 to 5:04, last from 1:15 to 1:32 depending on the terminal. In Terminal 1 the stop is on Level 1 (arrivals hall), stop 8. Passengers transferring between domestic and international flights or between international flights get free Keikyu or Tokyo Monorail tickets between terminals 1 and 3 or 2 and 3 at the information counters (terminals 1 and 2 — Level B1, Terminal 3 — Level 2), on presentation of a passport and boarding pass.

In Terminal 3, TIAT LOUNGE in the gate area on Level 4 is open round the clock, for stays of up to 3 hours: buffet, drinks including alcohol, showers. Entry is available with airline coupons or an eligible card in your name together with a same-day boarding pass. Otherwise, admission is subject to a fee: adults ¥4,400, children 4–12 ¥2,200, ages 0 to 3 free; with Priority Pass — from 1:00 to 5:00. In Terminal 1 on Level 2 in the domestic departures area — POWER LOUNGE SOUTH (6:00–21:00) and NORTH (6:00–20:30), adults ¥1,320.

Luggage is stored for up to 2 weeks; the sum of three dimensions up to 300 cm, weight up to 30 kg. Price per item: S (up to 120 cm) ¥800, M (120–199 cm) ¥1,000, L (200–300 cm) ¥2,000; skis and surfboards are also accepted. In Terminal 3 left luggage in the arrivals hall on Level 2 is open round the clock (price per 24 hours); in Terminal 1 it is on Level B1 (south side), from 8:00 to 19:30 (price per day).

Every terminal has a round-the-clock hotel: Terminal 1 — First Cabin Haneda Terminal 1 (Level 1, arrivals hall), Terminal 2 — Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu (Level 2, north side), Terminal 3 — The Royal Park Hotel Tokyo Haneda in the departures hall on Level 3, with its transit section after security on the same level.

Kid’s Space play corners are in the departure halls and by the gates: in Terminal 1 — on Level 2 before security and in three places after; in Terminal 2 — on Level 2 before security, on Level 2 after security (north and international sections) and on Level 1 in the bus boarding lounge; in Terminal 3 — on Level 3 after security, in the north and south sections. An adult must stay with the child.

Free Wi‑Fi: choose the “HANEDA-FREE-WIFI” network, open a browser and follow the on-screen instructions. The network does not work in shops (except lounges), connecting can be difficult in some areas, and the services vary by terminal.
